Beautiful vintage tansu style lined wooden jewelry box or storage chest with brass hardware, handles and good luck/good fortune symbols on both doors! Marked on the back Art House Wood Carving Co. Taiwan, this unique painted wood box features two large bottom drawers, along with two smaller drawers and a cubby area behind the doors. All drawers are lined with red felt. Measures 16″ wide x 15″ tall x 8 deep. Good pre-owned condition with some wear from age and use, a couple of missing tacks and a perfume smell inside.
