Impressive, detailed, ornate and intricate bronze plaque hunting scene in depth relief with a castle surrounded by foliage, trees, hunters, horses and dogs. Very hard to find this kind of boxes in this condition, with slight signals of use consistent with age (almost all boxes made of wood and leather usually are in terrible condition because they are very fragile). Most probably made in France during XIX century. Measures of box are 34.5 X 27 X 8 centimeters. Box has a lock, but key is not included. Fabulous box for demanding collectors.
