Opens to silk lining. Exterior Measures about 3.5″ tall and 3-1/4″ wide. Approximately 1.5 deep. Exterior shows some wear with slight dings and wear. The interior tan silk lining has slight discoloration from age, shows some wear and pulls. The bottom at one time probably had velvet which is now gone. Still an impressive antique box with.
