Exquisite example of an artisans box made from various wood including maple, oak, walnut, paduak, ebony and mahogany. The inside is lined with a small piece of burgundy material and the hinge is made from wood. This small jewelry box has no metal in it and is held together by tight wooden pegs, joints and glue. The size would make it ideal for traveling due to its compact nature. This was most likely made by a master wood worker given the seamless lines, inlay and complicated structure of the hinge. A great addition to any living room, boudoir or bedroom. This would make a great early holiday gift. MEASUREMENTS Wooden jewelry box measures 6″ wide by 9″ long by 3.5 deep weighs 1lb 9oz.
