This is an absolutely GORGEOUS FLOOR SIZE Footed Vintage Oriental or Chinoiserie Wood Jewelry and/or a Lingerie Cabinet Chest Box! It is a BEAUTIFUL lacquer CHINESE RED COLOR! It has all kinds of ENGRAVED BRASS HIGHLIGHT PIECES ALL OVER – EVEN INSIDE! (I believe this to be brass as a magnet will not stick to it) all over it including the latch and has a slide piece too! BEAUTIFUL HAND PAINTED colorful long tailed birds are on the front and top. Also flowers leaves and more! GORGEOUS shades of blue, mauve, yellow, lavender, gold flowers and shaded of green leaves all outlined in gold! It is truly WONDERFUL! Outside are 2 large doors and inside the doors are 3 drawers each one has brass trim and a large compartment for whatever you wish to keep there. On the bottom is a larger drawer. Inside all the drawers is red flocked. (like velvet) It is very heavy at 33 1/2 lbs. Measures 23″ tall, 22 1/8″ wide and 13 3/4″ deep (with the knobs it is 14 1/2″). Inside measurements are as follows: Storage area is 12 5/8″ tall, 10 1/2″ wide and 12 deep. The 3 drawers are 9 1/4″ long, 7 1/2″ wide and 2 tall. The bottom large drawer is 19 1/2″ wide, 11 1/2″ deep and 3 1/8 tall. Condition is really great with no cracks. No chips to the outside. Some SMALL chips to the paint deep INSIDE of the big compartment but does not show at all when doors are closed. (please see last photo) Some very light scratches to the brass and dot discoloration on the front rolled area and one little scrape inside doors on one side and dark dot on other – both are INSIDE doors.
