This lovely chest is a unique gem, completely refinished inside and out. It has been stripped, sanded, and repainted in the finest chalk paints, Annie Sloan’s. The body is a creamy white, slightly distressed, with touches of gold highlights in all the right places. The top of the box has a gorgeous decoupage with French stamp marks, sealed with polycrylic for years of strength and protection. There are nine drawers, three middle ones are largest. Just imagine all of the fun pieces you could put in them. They have matching paper and are painted lovely sage/mint green colors. The insides have a matching light green new plush lining and original gold metal pulls. On either side of these you will find a column of three smaller drawers, sweet little spaces for your rings, pins, what ever you choose. The side drawers are enclosed by swinging doors, a darker shade of green with adorable tassel like pulls and metal mesh centers. When the bottom drawer in the center is slid out the music box plays, Theme to Love Story. It is the original musical movement. Approximate measurements in inches.
