Antique Jewellery Box circa 1850. Antique rosewood jewellery box with beautiful engraved brass and mother of pearl inlay on the top and front. The brass strung border is exquisitely fine and shows true craftsmanship. The interior is lined with a black silk paper and teal velvet. With a removable jewellery tray which contains three main compartments flanked by two that have been specially lined to accommodate rings, earrings or cufflinks. This tray has two ribbon loops on each side to aid in lifting it out. Underneath is large storage space. This pretty inlaid antique jewellery box comes complete with a fully working lock and tasselled key. 13cm high x 30cm wide x 23cm deep. Terms and conditions apply.
