Beautiful vintage Japanese Tansu jewelry chest in solid wood. Brass mounts and pulls. 6 drawers with blue velvet lining. Bottom drawer locks with key that is included on orange ribbon. Wood looks to be mahogany, has a few nicks around pulls but no chips or other damage. Import sticker on back, shown. Measures almost 10″ high, little over 11.5″ wide and 7 deep. Some are cherished pieces from my Grandmother, who taught me the love of collecting. Many have come from estate sales, tag sales and shops. Some have been worn, some barely worn and some not at all.
