The top lid also provides 0.25 of room. This would make a great box for large chunky bangles or bracelets. There are two spaces inside the box which measure 5.5″ x 4.5″ each and a single space which measures 11.5″ x 2.25″. This space would be wonderful for a watch or tennis bracelet (or several layered one upon the other). The bright red velvet linking the interior is soft, clean and free of any strong odors. There is wear to the box, but is in in overall very good condition and oozes class, sophistication and old world character. The box is solid wood and quite heavy at 4 pounds 14 ounces. The metal findings are intricately detailed in brass which has a beautiful patina.
