A beautiful hand carved black forest trinket jewellery box casket. A 2 tier box with high relief carved decoratiion. The top with a wonderful carved pair of birds finials. Lovely floral decoration to front and sides. With hinged lid and two small compartments to the top , one larger compartment to the base, inside blue silk liner, please see photos. Condition is good for age, some light age related wear, a few very small nibbles, small crack to the wood at base, there is a key inside but not sure if the key is original, i can’t get it working.
