Lightly engraved with a name and some numbers on bottom. One side close to the corner has a dent. Pictured in the last photo. Clearly visible when looked from the bottom. Not very clearly visible when the box sits on table. The bottom is flat and sits evenly on a flat surface, not affected by the dent. The box has no other dings or dents. The bottom edges have some glue residues left over by. Should be able to be cleaned if desired. The box closes evenly, fully, easily and tightly. It has a removable wood divider that can be inserted back securely at any position to make two compartments. Really nice piece and well made.
