A superb Antique Early 19th Century Cross Banded Burr Wood Work Box with fully fitted interior. Eight lidded compartments in the top layer with two secret. Drawers underneath the central lift out compartment. The condition is good, with a couple of small issues. Two of the little nobs on the drawers have been replaced and two of the compartment lids have splits, which have been successfully repaired at some point. The key is missing but the lid still closes on it’s original hinges. The exterior of the box is very solid with no losses and it still has it’s four original turned wood bun feet. Rare to find a work box of this age in such good and original condition but please study my photographs for the best idea, or feel free to message me with any questions.
