Antique 19thC tall wood sewing or jewelry box on turned feet. With 4 swing-out drawers & a single big storage area underneath. An unusual design with a hinged wood flap that swings down & locks. The box is beautifully crafted with tight joints and a slight curved front. The drawers follow this curve and still swing open properly. The pink silk over the cotton batting has shredded from age. Interior fabrics have staining & dust from storage. There is one small piece of the lower curved apron missing. One of the applied curved corner pieces has a small chip. The lock is there but no key came with the box. When closed, the box measures 9 inches x 6 inches x 5 inches. Please view all the pictures for details & condition.
