In WONDERFUL restored condition. One very old veneer repair to the right side bottom edge. With a couple of arrears of minor nibble repair. Inlaid boxwood, ebony and tulipwood banding to the top and front all complete. Further inlaid to the outer edge with boxwood and rosewood with minor old nibble repair to a couple of edges which is nothing. We have supplied the box with two later relined dividers. We wont leave these in place to save scuffing the material. The pair can easily be placed where you desire or left out as wished. The box also has its original mother of pearl keyhole escutcheon. IM PRETTY SURE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Box retains the original lock and top catch with later hinges. Supplied with a silk tassel and Victorian key that FULLY LOCKS the box. YOU ONLY GET THIS TYPE OF QUALITY FROM US. Comprising a wonderful interior that has been relined in expensive velvet material of the highest quality. Beneath the base of the box have also been lined in velvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces. A superb box, and would make a fantastic gift.
