Restored and re-polished (traditional method), features: All original hardware: hinges, brass lock and keep which is fully operational, and comes complete with a period key and a new tassel. Bottom (underside) is covered in black baize so wont mark polished surfaces. A couple of minute veneer slither repairs (Right side, bottom left & right), brass work is all intact and original. In excellent condition sympathetically restored bringing the box back to its former glory. Advice sheet on caring for your antique box included. Internally converted for use as a jewellery box and is fully lined in purple cotton velvet. Boasts a handmade solid Mahogany tray which projects above the base of the box utilizing a portion the lid space, includes 7 compartments and a double row of ring holders (made by myself- a qualified Furniture Maker to exacting standards).
