Inlaid to the top with boxwood to each corner and boxwood stringing, with a boxwood keyhole escutcheon. We believe the solid brass handle to the top is also original. The feet beneath the box are rosewood and mahogany. One has a modern fixing screw which is nothing. There is an old repair on the edging around the same said foot. This is nothing and absolutely fine with no issues. There are no veneer repairs. It really is in very good order for its old age. Its just superb and in very good condition.
