This jewelry box is signed Made in ITALY for The Broadway. I believe it is approx 80 years old. It is very nicely designed, heavy and well made, in Mediterranean stylings. It is approx 11″ wide at the feet, x 6-1/4″ tall, not including knob, and 4 deep. All drawers are lined in what appears to be gold velvet, or velveteen. The claw feet, pulls and top knob are all non magnetic, but the studs are magnetic. It is decorated with wood that has the appearance of leather, or possibly leather that is made to look like wood! I do not know which. It has a beautiful, rich, look and is in very good, vintage, condition with age appropriate wear and weathering only, including light soiling. It will benefit from a polish.
