JEWELLERY BOX It is a TOP QUALITY PIECE in VERY GOOD, ANTIQUE CONDITION/. The box measures approx 12 3/4 inches (320mm) wide, by 9 1/2 inches (240mm) deep, by 3 3/4 inches (95mm) tall. It is made from polished mahogany with protective brass mounts upon the lid, and around the corners. The lid has a folding brass handle in the center, and opens and closes freely. Inside there are two plush velvet lined, fitted jewellery trays, which both lift out to reveal a large velvet lined storage compartment beneath them. The timber has lovely deep rich tones, and a nice antique patina. It is in very good, antique condition, with light wear in keeping with its very great age, but no major damage, woodworm, or repairs.
