With mother of pearl and abalone shell inlaid central cartouche and keyhole escutcheon. The sprung loaded draw retains its original solid brass locking bar. You remove this from within the box on the right side to gain assess to the side draw. Pulls in and out with ease. The pictures really do not do it justice.
