This antique oak box has quite a few features: it has a leather top insert lined with red silk velvet, a bottom section also lined with a bottom pillow of (newer) silk velvet and the original silk sides and a silk velvet lined lid. The outside has brass appliques and there is a lock on the front (not working). The wood is in remarkable condition considering age with as only defect as split on one corner.
