Overall, the piece is in excellent condition. There is some light wear, a small ding, and some slight separation to the lid. These are all age typical, and minor. The piece is completely original, including the feet, underside, and red papier mache interior. There is a fold-down piece attached within the lid, it has dried and is no longer pliable it has a clip, and stays “locks” within the lid. The piece is free of warping, and opens and closes properly.
