Antique Confectioner’s Jewelry Souvenir Cigarette Trinket Box. Made of Rosewood, Tooth, & Shell Box has four carved Claw Feet. This lovely confectioner’s/jewelry/souvenir/trinket. Probably made of MIXED MATERIALS. To include tortoise shell & rosewood. These boxes were often the gift box. For confections in the early 1800’s. This is one of the most intricate that i have obtained in many years. I love the claw feet! I do believe the bright blue velvet lining is a replacement that was done at some point.
