For sale is an original finely carved and constructed American tramp art trinket or jewelry box with very nice detailing. The form of this box is quite wonderful. This piece comes to us from a private Connecticut estate. The box is in overall good condition. The bent twig would lift/pull has long been broken off but was stored inside the box for future repair. The box was lacquered for conservation. The box has a linen cloth fitted interior which is in good condition. We believe it to be early 20th century possibly circa 1920s 30s in age.
