Antique Sterling Silver Cigarette Case Jewelry Box Wood Lined. The Box has English sterling lion marks. It was made by Arthur & John Zimmerman in Birmingham in 1902. The box approximately measures 5 3/8″ x 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2 and approximately weighs 547.5 grams including lined wood and weighted bottom. It has thicker wall of sterling than other boxes I have. Round and smooth edges to reduce crack or split. Nice condition with a few tiny dings/dents consistent with its age and use. It closes tightly and fully as it should. Please see photos for details. Ask any questions if you have. A sterling box with right size feels heavy in hand and looks nice on a desk. A great addition to your sterling collection.
