Red, black and gilt lacquered, with domed lid with miniature painting of landscape, pagoda, phoenix and people on the lid, brass handle and key lock with engraved decoration of blossoms and palmettes. Qing dynasty, China, 18th century. Dimensions: Width 29.6 cm x Depth 21.5 cm x Hight 10.1 cm. Condition: good for its age despite signs of wear at the bottom and minor damages, as seen in the photos.
