Up for sale is a wonderful antique handmade book shaped puzzle jewelry box. It’s completely made by hand and in the shape of stacked books with a beautiful marquetry design on the lid. It is a puzzle box with a hidden key compartment, the box slides on the base and one of the books slides down exposing the key entry. The piece is lined with intricate paper lining that does have ware as shown. It has acquired a lovely patina from age and is in nice used condition. It measures 9 inches long by 5 1/4 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall. It is missing the key. Thank you for visiting “Dusty Treasures ” and please feel free to browse through.
