Presented is a solid and very well-preserved antique Victorian white, wooden locking box manufactured in the mid to late 1800’s with the key! The box looks very much like the work of Berlin Iron of Germany. The top and either side of the keyhole bears lovely. The inside of the box is completely lined with original and intact deep red paper. Condition: The box is sound and the hinges work perfectly. The paper inside has a stain but no rips, tears, or holes. On the outer surfaces, the wood is in excellent condition. There is a minimal amount of surface abrasion to the paint, but the overall condition is very good for a box of this age! Our photos will show you in nicely focused detail if you view them at maximum size. Dimensions: 10 1/8 inches long, 3 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high tm. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.
