This is a very unique and unusual hinged lid box that is done in a stacked up design of wooden slats made from old cigar boxes that graduate in size and have decorative notched edges, giving this unique piece of tramp art a pyramid shape. The interior of the felt lined box for storing ones items measures 7 1/4 x 8 3/4. The hinges are still in working order, and this box measures 12 x 13 1/2 on the exterior measurements. The highest point on this box is 5 high, the interior of the box is only 3 high. This is a very unusual piece of American tramp art that would make a special addition to ones own personal collection.
