Description of item for sale. This intricately carved dresser box is from France and dates to around 1900. It is in classic Gothic revival style. All four sides as well as the top are carved. It is made out of solid oak and finished very dark. Notice the original red fabric behind the carved openings. This box is in very good condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that there is not a key with it and we did not test the lock to see if it works. Dimensions : 17.5″ wide, 9″ tall and 9 deep.
