In WONDERFUL restored condition. Very minor nibble veneer repair and border repair but essentially in great restored condition. Flame mahogany veneered to all sides, top and front. Inlaid with boxwood and ebony stringing to each side top and front. Further inlaid with ebony corners and an ebony keyhole escutcheon. Its just superb and in very good restored condition. An early box at nearly 200 years old. IM PRETTY SURE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Box retains the original lock , original top catch and hinges. Supplied with a silk tassel and Victorian key that FULLY LOCKS the box. A bit fiddly but all work well. YOU ONLY GET THIS TYPE OF QUALITY FROM US. Interior that has been relined in expensive. Material of the highest quality. Beneath the base of the box has also been lined in velvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces. A superb box, and would make a fantastic gift.
