Here’s a beautiful tramp art box made of cutup cigar boxes, in a rare octagonal form, from Somerset County, Pennsylvania. It measures 12″ long, 9″ wide and 8 tall The top has a pincushion upholstered onto it. The inside of the box is also upholstered in a red Victorian patterned fabric. The lid once had probably a mirror? Inset but now missing. Brass lion & ring handles. Condition: Excellent overall, original shellac finish remains. Mirror or glass piece now missing to lid.
