The lid opens up to reveal a crescent shaped mirror on inside with compartments for various things, fabric is worn in this area on inside as shown , metal latch closure. Metal latch is ornate , is on the piece but is off center a tad so does not close all the way. Two front doors that reveal ornate mirrors on the inside doors set on tufted pink fabric. The latch on the outside of the doors is still intact , however, due to age does not quite latch over. Hinges are also in good condition on lid , doors etc. Inside back has compartments, for once holding brush , mirror etc, small levers that held those items in place. Compartments for various other vanity items. Vanity box has a pull out drawer at bottom. Ornate metal piece on the front of the drawer.
